Master plan for green tree park in Hanoi publicised

A master plan for the construction of a green tree park at 42 Nha Trung street, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi, has been made public.

According to the master plan, the green tree park covers a total area of over 6,800 square metres. The building with French-style architecture will be repaired and turned into a pubic library with an area of 406 square metres. Existing works on the land area will be removed to build the park.

The project aims to make the best use of the land in the central area of the capital, perfect the urban architecture and landscape in conformity with the feature of the Old Quarter, build a public flower garden, a library and reading rooms on the basis of keeping in tact of the 3 storey building with French-style architecture, improve local environmental sanitation and create one more cultural and welfare work in the city.
